There is no donation too small. Every dollar given will be greatly appreciated, and will go directly to operating costs of The Brass Ring.
The Brass Ring has a 200-seat theatre, 3 dance studios, 4 private voice/instrumental studios, and a script/score library.
The Brass Ring offers classes for children starting at the age of 5. Classes include Broadway Kids, private voice, music theory, private lessons in all musical instruments, acting classes, and all disciplines of dance. All classes are scheduled in the afternoon or evening, after all public and private schools have concluded.
The Brass Ring also provides a permanent home to Carousel Productions, Broadway Bound Academy of Dance, and The Jim and Ida Williams Summer Youth Theatre.
In July of 2000 Vicki and Jeff Gelona purchased a vacant 28,000 sq. ft. meat-packing and distribution warehouse. In the months that followed, joined by family and friends, they renovated the space and converted it into a performing arts center for children.
Ms. Vicki had always dreamed of building a place where young people from all walks of life could come together, under one roof, and learn about the arts; knowing that in the process they would all find common ground, regardless of upbringing, and learn to love and respect one another.
